Purified using a proprietary process, Medical Grade Manuka honey is cleansed of any impurities that are not a naturally occurring part of the honey. To be recognized and certified as Manuka Honey by the New Zealand government, the honey is tested for five specific standards. All five attributes must be met to pass the Ministry for Primary Industries’ requirements to be labeled as either mono-floral Manuka or multi-floral Manuka for exportation.
